• Start: Day 1 at 07:30 at your hotel in Cusco.
• End: Day 2 around midnight in Cusco city center.

DAY 1: CUSCO – PÍSAC – OLLANTAYTAMBO – AGUAS CALIENTES.

• We'll pick you up in the morning to begin the journey by vehicle north of Cusco. We'll stop at a viewpoint for our first view of the Sacred Valley, with an explanation by the tour guide. Then, we'll arrive at Písac, where we'll visit the archaeological site with terraces used and improved by the Quechuas for crop cultivation. We'll reach an altitude of 3400 m, even 3500 m if we explore the highest part. Later, we'll return to the town where you can visit the craft market. Afterwards, we'll take our transport to continue the road towards Ollantaytambo, following the Urubamba River. Once there, we'll visit the terraces and ruins of the Temple of the Sun, with a privileged view of the surrounding valleys. At the end of this day's tour, we'll leave you at the train station to take the transport to the Aguas Calientes station, from where you'll reach the hostel for an overnight stay.
• *For those who have selected the optional Vistadome train service, due to the train schedule, they will receive a brief explanation about the archaeological site and then proceed to the train station to travel to Aguas Calientes.

DAY 2: AGUAS CALIENTES – MACHU PICCHU – CUSCO.

• The day starts very early in the morning to take the bus with our guide from the town center, which takes 25 minutes from Aguas Calientes to the entrance of the Machu Picchu citadel. Here, we'll start a guided tour for 1 hour, during which the history of the place will be explained, from its construction to the time it was rediscovered by Hiram Bingham. Then, we'll say goodbye to the guide and the group to explore the citadel on your own, allowing time to explore the missing constructions or even climb one of the mountains, either Machu Picchu or Huayna Picchu, if included in your ticket. After this experience, return to Aguas Calientes to be at the train station half an hour before the scheduled departure on your ticket. You'll reach Ollantaytambo, where transportation will be waiting to take you to the center of Cusco city.
