Tour Description

Puno – Copacabana – Isla del Sol with return to Puno or connection to La Paz (Bolivia)

Detailed Itinerary

  • 06:30 am – Pick up of passengers from their hotels in Puno.
  • 07:00 am – Departure by tourist bus towards the Kasani border.
  • 09:30 am – Arrival at the Peru–Bolivia border. Assistance with migration procedures and possibility of currency exchange.
  • 11:30 am – Arrival in Copacabana (Bolivian time). Guided visit to the Sanctuary of the Virgin of Copacabana and tour of the picturesque local market.
  • 12:40 pm – Free time for lunch (optional).
  • 01:30 pm – Boarding a boat to sail across the majestic Lake Titicaca for 1h 15 min, heading to Isla del Sol.
  • There we will visit:
  • Temple of the Inca Pilkokaina
  • Yumani Stairways, leading to the famous Fountain of Youth, where according to tradition its waters have purifying properties.
  • Inca Gardens.
  • 04:20 pm – Return by shared boat to Copacabana.
  • 05:40 pm – Arrival in Copacabana.
  • 06:00 pm – Departure by tourist bus to Puno or direct connection to La Paz (approx. 2h30 min trip to La Paz).
  • 08:15 pm – Arrival in Puno and transfer to the corresponding hotels.
